This is racing.

So yeah...a whole buncha' racing on today. World Superbikes from the Czech Republic early in the day...Bayliss (#21) did the double (he won both races, ya genius) comfortably. His teammate Michel 'girl's name' Fabrizio made it a factory Ducati 1-2 in race 2 after he and 'Bad' Max Biaggi swapped positions (and paint) about 32.5 times. Next up...MotoGP from Laguna Seca, right here in the U.S. of A. Australian convict Casey Stoner (#1)ruled the roost during practice and qualifying...everyone had had pretty much written the race off as a F1-style procession where Stoner would run off, finish the race half an hour before everyone else, and hop on a plane back to the land down under to spend the 3 week break knocking back Fosters with his wife and two Wallabies. Problem being; Despite having an underpowered bike, Valentino Rossi's (#46, housewives' favorite)plan of barging (Have you ever seen a fat guy steam roll his way to the front of the line at a Chinese buffet?)past Stoner on lap 1 and then basically blocked any and all of Stoner's attempts to pass, and won the race. After the race, Stoner labeled Rossi's passes as 'too aggressive' and refused to shake his hand on the podium...kind of reminds of the time Vlade Divac ran his mouth about Michael Jordan during the NBA finals about 10 years ago, only to have his team crucified by MJ and the Bulls after that. So, that was neat. The only other 'hightlight' of the race was Jorge 'King Midas' Lorenzo highsiding himself into another timezone going into turn 5 on the first lap. Holy Christ...'Earth to race control...we have a renegade Spaniard in sector 7'. Then came the AMA Supersport and Superbike races...by that time, neighbor Kevin's Bloody Marys were in full-effect, so I only remember bits-n-pieces. Mladin won the superbike race by quite a bit, and Ben Bostrom did the same in the supersport race. Highlight was watching my new 2nd best friend (Mateo still reigns supreme) and Mellie Mix consumer Danny Eslick (#69) smoking his rear tire INTO the corners under braking...good shit!

T...out.
